It is grown at high altitude in the Constanza valley in the La Vega Province of the Dominican Republic. Lulled by gentle trade winds and a balmy humid climate, and growing in limestone rich soil, the beans have a unique flavour.
Beautifully smooth with an intense milk chocolate sweetness contrasting with fresh apple acidity, its taste evokes the vibrancy and warmth of the Caribbean.
