The Pacific island of Papua New Guinea boasts the perfect subtropical climate for coffee growing. So it’s no surprise that almost half the population is involved in the industry, with over 90% of the coffee grown on high altitude smallholder farms or village coffee gardens, profiting from the rich volcanic soil. 
 
Produced in miniscule amounts, without the use of chemicals and fertilisers, we’ve sourced the finest beans the island has to offer to produce a deliciously bright and mellow coffee, ideal for afternoon idling. With its citrus kick and a touch of malty sweetness, this coffee has layered fruit and floral notes and a light acidity for a crisp, refreshing finish.

Papua New Guinea Coffee is delicious brewed with a cafetière, V60 or Syphon. Follow the manufacturer's equipment instructions, using fresh water just off the boil so you don't scald the coffee. Do not re-heat brewed coffee. For the freshest and best tasting coffee, please consume within 4 weeks.

This is one of the very least coffees I can drink without milk nor sugar - I'm unable to enjoy its bitterness. But I made this one using a syphon and I must say it is amazingly mellow and sweet, with nice caramel notes that leave a lovely taste in your mouth. It was a great find for me!
