Origin: Blended Leaf Type: Green Tea and Spearmint Taste: Sweet and Minty with smoky undertones Drink: Without Milk Brew: Lightly, 2-3 minutes according to taste with water off the boil When to drink: Afternoon
From dawn until dusk, this cooling and refreshing tea is brewed on Morocco's sun-baked streets. Our blend expertly balances smoky green tea with sweet spearmint. Brewed light, or strong with plenty of sugar, this is a tea to seal a deal, welcome a weary stranger or transport you to the bustling alleyways of Morocco's medinas.
Great Taste Awards judges love it too - "The base tea is good and in balance with the mint.".
Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and use freshly drawn water which is heated to around 80 degrees. You can either pour the water before it reaches boiling point or allow the water to sit for a few minutes afterwards. Allow to brew for 2-3 minutes according to taste. Should be drunk without milk.
My Husband loves this tea, the Mint is refreshing not overpowering. Pleasant to drink at any time, just sit and enjoy!

Very refreshing, it can be drunk all year long, but it's best on a hot summer day.
Moroccan Mint tea

I find this tea refreshing at all times of the day. I generally use loose leaf and brew it lightly as, if is too strong, the flavour of the mint is masked by a strong Gunpowder taste. My wife, who only ever drank coffee, will now not get out of bed in the morning without her mug of Moroccan Mint (though I save time in first thing by using tea bags!).
