Origin: Blended Leaf Type: Black Tea with Flavouring Taste: Spicy apple crumble Drink: With or without milk Brew: 3-5 minutes according to taste When to drink:Perfect for afternoon tea
One sip of this fruity, lightly spiced tea transports you to an English apple orchard in the warm summer sun. A rich, warming blend, it is perfect for an afternoon treat.
Whittard's Apple Crumble Tea is inspired by one of Britain's best-loved puddings. With a malty black tea at its base, it contains real pieces of apple and rosehip peel. It is warmed with gently piquant cinnamon and sweetened with vanilla to recreate the taste and smells of this classic autumn dessert.
Fruity and refreshing, Apple Crumble Tea is the perfect drink if you are looking for something comforting and traditionally English.
Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.
I have to say I agree 100% with Nina. we have been buying apple crumble tea for donkeys years. I didint mind buying it in bulk for a reduced rate for the 500g bags, but it is no longer our everyday tea because you are too expensive! let me know when you see sense and start selling it in big bags again!
