Leaf Type: Green Sencha tea with flower petals and flavouring
Taste: Luscious mango with elegant bergamot
Drink: Without milk
Brew: Lightly, 2-3 minutes according to taste with water off the boil
When to drink: Adds a tropical touch to teatime…
Juicy mango, lulo and fragrant bergamot flavours make this a sweet but sophisticated green tea, perfect for adding a twist of summer exoticism an afternoon spread. A Great Taste Award winner in both 2013 and 2014, the judges admired our Mango & Bergamot’s “good sweetness on the finish”, describing it as “clean and sweet throughout.”
High quality green Sencha tea leaves form the base of the blend, picked in early spring and steamed and rolled to maintain their verdant colour and herby taste. Scattered with rose, sunflower and blue cornflower petals, this aromatic flavoured tea is as beautiful as it is delicious. We love to display it at home in big glass sweetshop jars, and why not top a green tea cupcake with a delicate petal?
Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and use freshly drawn water which is heated to around 80 degrees. You can either pour the water before it reaches boiling point or allow the water to sit for a few minutes afterwards. Allow to brew for 2-3 minutes according to taste. Should be drunk without milk.
I first tried this Tea as a taster in the Whittard shop in covent garden and was instantly drawn to its aromatic strong fruity yet clean smell. Love the taste its a perfect tea for me at the end of the day, when the day is done, to kick back and brew da mango !
Top tea which i would seriously buy again, Divine

This is one of the nicest teas I've ever had. It's fruity and light. I've recommended it to everyone and intend to buy stocks of it for myself.
Not a replacement for Green Earl Grey :(

It was suggested that I should order this tea instead of my favourite, Green Earl Grey Tea. I cannot see how this tea possibly could be a substitute for the lovely Green Earl Grey. Taste is not bad but smell is overpowering and far too perfumed.
Please bring the Green Earl Grey back!

This tea is very nice indeed. I drink it on my morning tea break and sometimes again in the afternoon. In contrast to another review, I personally wouldn't liken too closely to Earl Grey. Whilst it does contain bergomot, the dominant flavour is that of the mango in my opinion; it's therefore more of a fruit than a citrus flavour that comes through. Indeed, the taste and smell of mango dominates for me.

I was very disappointed with this tea which I purchased having previously tried the Earl Grey Green Tea, which does not now seem to be available. It smells like furniture polish, though the taste is not quite as bad. Not again I'm afraid, but it is the only Whittard tea I would say this about. Shame, I purchased 2 packets on the basis of an earlier review! You live and learn.
