Origin: Blended Leaf Type: Black Tea with Flavouring Taste: Fruity and floral Drink: With or without milk Brew: 3-5 minutes according to taste When to drink: Afternoon
Whittard's Piccadilly Blend Tea is a highly sophisticated tea, its mix of unusual and exciting flavours makes it perfect for drinking with family and friends in the afternoon.
It is an exclusive blend that reflects Whittard's great heritage and tea expertise. A rich black tea scattered with flower petals and the flavour of rose, strawberry and lotus, it combines the very best of British and Oriental flavours with exceptional results.
A real treat for the senses, this tea looks, smells and tastes out of this world. The mix of stunning leaves and petals looks beautiful, making it a delightful drink to brighten up any afternoon.
Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.
Initially this tea presents itself with a rather powerful aroma, sweet yet a tad overpowering. However after tasting it, I found that it comes across much more subtle than originally presented.
Once the tea has cooled slightly, the strawberry and rose flavours appear and after each sip, the light and delicate floral notes come forward. Very well suited as a nice winding down, afternoon tea.

This was bought for me as a gift from the second I opened the bag and the aroma made its way to my nose I knew this would be a tea for me. I brewed 16 ounces of it with two scoops of German Rock Sugar and this is one of the smoothest teas I have ever drank I am in love!

This tea is out of this world, it is light but so refreshing, I find I can drink it at any time of the day, such a lovely summery light tea.
I would recommend this to any person that likes a scent, floral flavoured tea.
