Brew: Lightly, 2-3 minutes according to taste with water off the boil
When to drink: Around the fire on a winter evening
Gather around the fire for strange tales from the spice markets of ancient trade routes – this classic Whittard blend balances a smooth, full-flavoured black tea with exotic notes of cloves, vanilla and citrus. The mulled wine of our tea collection, it’s Christmas in a cup – then again, it’s also rather good served iced with plenty of fruit on hot summer days. For now, we’d suggest it goes rather well with a plate of mince pies…
Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teabag per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.
