Origin: Blended Leaf Type: Black Tea with Spices and Flavouring Taste: Fragrant Vanilla Drink: With or Without Milk Brew: Brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste with water off the boil When to drink: Any time of day
This classic combination is one of the earliest flavoured teas. Long, sticky vanilla pods, among the world's most expensive spices, are harvested by hand for their heavy sweetness. The flamboyance of this spice contrasts perfectly with the clean taste of black tea to produce a deliciously fresh and fragrant drink.
Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.

This tea was the first of Whittard's loose teas I had tried, and one of the first blends I tried that was not English Breakfast.
It is a lovely tea, with a light vanilla flavour that is not at all overpowering - a great first tea for those looking to try other blends. It's wonderful with a spoonful of sugar, and just a dash of milk.
Vanilla, an ice cream taste in a tea!

This tea remembers me the taste of a sweet, soft, vanilla ice cream.
I have used this tea to do up to 5 infusions. Normally the time of the next infusion lasts a bit more then the previous one. Drink it gently!

This makes for a perfect cuppa. The packet suggests not using milk but personally I love this tea with a dash of milk and a teaspoon of acacia honey. Perfect every time!

This is a lovely gentle vanilla flavoured black tea - it is my favourite 'wake-up' cuppa.
