Young tender leaves and silvery buds are picked in early spring from the humid slopes and valleys of Formosa. The tightly curled intense green leaves which are rolled by hand are famous for their wonderful aroma. The leaves untwist to give a pale green-gold tea with a clean fragrant taste.
