One of our most popular teas, these hand-rolled pearls of green tea have been crafted for matchless clarity of taste, characterised by distinctive floral notes of jasmine.
A speciality of Fujian Province in China, the youngest silver tips and buds of the tea leaf are layered with whole jasmine blossoms, picked at dusk when the scent of the blooms is most intense.
Left to absorb the oils of the flowers overnight, the leaves are then rolled into small, delicate pearls, producing a gloriously aromatic tea which can be infused multiple times.
A Gold winner in the 2012 Great Taste Awards, the judges admired its “good liquor, good colour and good jasmine.”
