The tender young leaves and silvery buds of our Pi Lo Chun are harvested on the humid slopes and valleys of Taiwan in early spring.

The name literally translates as Jade Snail Spring, a description of the bright green leaves which are skilfully rolled by hand. Cultivated alongside fruit bushes, the tea has a slightly fruity flavour.

Ingredients

MAY CONTAIN: NUTS

100% Green Tea

Brew a Perfect Cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and use freshly drawn water which is heated to around 80 degrees. You can either pour the water before it reaches boiling point or allow the water to sit for a few minutes afterwards. Allow to brew for 2-3 minutes according to taste. Should be drunk without milk.

The description says the origin is Taiwan and the leaves are picked in valleys of Taiwan. Genuine Pi Lo Chun or Bi Lou Chun is actually produced in the Jiangsu, China which is 600km from Taiwan. Please make sure you do your research and try not to scam those who are not aware of the difference.
