Assam Mangalam Second Flush Tea is one of Assam's finest, with a warm, delicate flavour, perfect for a gentle wake me up in the morning.

Assam tea is grown in north-east India, a land of high rainfall, endowed with lush greenery, and the largest cohesive tea growing area in the world. This second flush Assam comes from the highly regarded Mangalam tea garden, and typically it is picked later on in the season when the leaves are at their best. The large leaves of the tea make it quite a delicate Assam that is particularly sought-after.

Assam's full-bodied, malty flavour makes it perfect for drinking in the morning and is a great tea to enjoy over breakfast.

100% Black Tea

Brew a Perfect Cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.

First tasted this tea in Scotland at the store, of all the teas I tasted that day I went back to the Assam Mangalam. Full-bodied with the greatest after taste I love a tea that give that after taste You just can\'t wait till that next cup. I found that taste changes the longer it brew, best to brew as suggested. Since I live in the USA going to try to make it iced to see if I like it that way also. I know all you hot tea drinker out there you having a coronary but Iced tea is my go to Drink, Lemon only no sugar even hot.
