Festival Recovery Kits

It’s a summer of festivals, and the biggest of all is our very own Love of Tea . (Well – in our unbiased opinions, anyway.)

Whether you’re bopping at Bestival or glamping at Glastonbury, you need to be on top of your game. That’s why we’ve come up with some tea-themed survival kits to keep you dancing, partying and singing along in your most out-of-tune bawl.

Energy Booster

Headbanging’s pretty hard work, and there’s nothing more embarrassing than falling asleep in the Portaloo. We’ve bundled together three teas with a bit of zip to keep you rocking in the free world. Our 1886 Blend contains leaves processed using the CTC (“crush, tear, curl”) method for a hearty, bold-tasting brew, while our Grapefruit Yerba Mate is a sweet and fruity twist on a caffeine-rich South American herb. To round things off we’ve included our Matcha Guricha : a vibrant Japanese green tea coated in lush matcha.

Hydration Helper

All that partying works up a thirst, and these naturally caffeine-free infusions are the perfect way to rehydrate. (Repeatedly listening to “Waterfalls” by TLC won’t help. We’ve tried it.)

Strawberry Serenade ’s a fruity fantasia that’s made for summer, and Apple & Elderflower ’s a beautifully light countryside infusion. We’ve also added Cucumber Mint : it’s an intriguing spin on a classic herbal tea, and a wonderful palate cleanser after a night of twisting and/or shouting.

Detox Kit

“Unnnngggggghhhhh”. That’s the sound of the morning after – you’ll thank your lucky stars you packed our Detox Kit to shake off some of that grogginess.

Chelsea Garden is a floral white tea with whole rosebuds, and Strawberry Mint is a sip of pure summer – try it iced. Finally there’s our Puerh Mandarin blend: this unusual fermented tea is delicious when you’re feeling a bit under the weather. Love of Tea Going to a festival this summer?
