A truly excellent tea can be as layered and complex as a fine wine, and with a bit of practice you can learn to discern the exact origin...
We’re all about the art of the roast – the delicate process of balancing the bean’s natural flavours, causing it to change in colour, taste...
Some people count sheep to get to sleep. With 100 different teas to choose from, we’ve found a much better solution. True, our collection is huge. But you can choose to track down your tea by taste, by origin and even by number.

How many Whittard tea caddies have you got hanging around the place? As we launch our beautiful new caddies, we’ve been doing a bit of teacycling…

We were delighted when we saw this blog post by Mummy Barrow – she’s used our old caddies to grow herbs! We’d say use a peppermint tea caddy for mojito mint leaves, basil in a caddy of English Breakfast.
If you’re anything like us, you’ll be in desperate need for somewhere to store that endless supply of loose buttons, paperclips, pens and pencils. Caddies are the ideal solution...
Sweets and Biscuits
Our caddies are specially designed to keep tea fresh, so they also work rather well for sugar, sweets and biscuits. We fill them with smarties and jellybeans at children’s parties, and they’re an excellent decoy for the rest of the year.
The Crown Jewels
How does the queen store her personal jewellery collection? We like to think there’s a Whittard tea caddy sitting on her dressing table, and it’s probably our patriotic Royal Blend – perfect for pearls.
Artists will know the importance of multiple paint-mixing pots. Bid farewell to boring baked bean tins and use a caddy instead. They’re also excellent for storing paintbrushes.
All lined up on the shelf, our mini caddies are super for storing spices. Turmeric looks particular beautiful in a purple mini caddy, and Chilli Chai is ideal for cayenne.
Alternatively, you could fill your caddies with…. Tea. Bring your Whittard caddy to your local store for a top up, or browse online for our full range of 100 loose leaf teas.
