The Whittard Cake in a Mug Blogger Carnival

We had such a great response to our Afternoon Tea Blogger Carnival, we thought we would launch another one!

Cooking in a mug using a microwave is proving very popular and there are some delicious recipes out on the web, so we thought we’d ask bloggers to submit posts with photos and recipes specifically featuring a cake in a mug!

It’s the perfect solution for someone who really fancies a little cake without the time and effort (and sheer amount of cake)  involved in baking an entire cake! So all you need to do is post the following onto your blog and email us the link:

-           A recipe for a cake in a mug (made using the microwave)

-           A photo/photos of the finished article in your favourite mug (decorations are optional)

The type of cake and ingredients are entirely up to you, you could even incorporate some Whittard tea/coffee/hot chocolate if that takes your fancy - it’s entirely up to you, just be as creative as possible and include some lovely photos! Here’s an example and we'll be posting some photos and recipes sent in by our store teams too, check out Kat's Mint Chocolate Cake in a Teacup, Alex's Tiramisu Cake , Melissa's Strawberry Mallow cake and Lesley's Cappuccino Cake in a Mug.
