Product Details

Known as the “land of a thousand hills”, Rwanda’s famous among coffee connoisseurs for its near-perfect growing conditions. We’ve sourced pure Bourbon beans from David Rubanzango’s washing station in the mountains of southern Rwanda, where the best beans from tiny smallholdings nearby are collected, graded and meticulously processed.

The result? A lusciously chocolatey, fruity cup with an aftertaste that’s smooth, mellow and slightly spicy. It’s pure coffee heaven…

Taste Guarantee

We’re confident that you’ll love our products as much as we do. Our Taste Guarantee means that if anything fails to meet your expectations you can return for an exchange or full refund – just remember to enclose the original receipt if you're returning it by post or popping in store. That way you're free to try something new, without the risk of disappointment.

Known as the “land of a thousand hills”, Rwanda has all the right conditions for growing exceptional coffee: high altitudes, hot, wet weather and the complex fruitiness brought by east African soil. It’s little wonder that the crop became a symbol of hope following the Rwandan genocide – today the country produces some truly wonderful coffees, often with fresh berry notes and a distinctive juiciness.

A note from Whittard

“I’m a bit of a creature of habit, so I go for the same two coffees every time: medium roasted San Agustin Colombia in the morning, smoky Old Brown Java in the evening. Love it!”
