Limited Edition Rwanda Gitwe #295
Out of stock
Flourishing up high in rich, volcanic soil off the shores of Lake Kivu, this exceptional light-medium roast coffee is characterised by notes of ripe gooseberries and nutty undertones, producing a bright cup jam-packed with flavour.
Nestled in the hillside with an abundance of green coffee trees, the newly constructed Gitwe Washing Station is in high demand, processing cherries from 800 local farmers. As the majority of Rwandan coffee is produced by smallholders with less than one hectare of land, local farmers form cooperatives and share the services of this centralised wet-milling station.

Brew the Perfect cup
When making coffee always use freshly drawn and boiled water – wait a few seconds for the water to cool so you don't scald the grinds. Cardinal rule? Never re-heat brewed coffee! Freshness is everything.
Brewing with an AeroPress gives a really clean, complex coffee – perfect for this fabulously fruity cup.
Gitwe washing station is located in the Nyamasheke district of south-west Rwanda.
