In 2014 we added our Chelsea Espresso to the collection; designed to provide a richly sweet and fruity cup, it has a wonderful brightness of flavour which makes it perfect for afternoon drinking. 
We’ve chosen to blend sweet caramel Cerrado beans from Brazil with Nicaragua’s fruity Cattura beans, adding the delicate floral flavours of coffee from Ethiopia and Kenya. Lightly roasted to highlight notes of nectarine and peach, it’s refreshingly light with a soothing hint of vanilla sweetness. Now available in one of our beautifully designed refillable coffee caddies.

Ingredients

Brew the perfect cup

For the perfect cup of Chelsea Espresso Coffee, always use fresh water, off the boil so you don't scald the coffee. Whittard's Espresso is designed to be used with an espresso machine - follow the manufacturer's equipment instructions. Do not re-heat brewed coffee. 

Kenya

Kenyan coffee is often ideal for a light roast, yielding bright, fruity notes with a sherbet sweetness. Most Kenyan coffee is produced by cooperatives of smallholdings rather than large estates, and the best varieties are often thought to come from the central region of Kenya, though the western regions are now gaining in popularity. Our Kenyan coffee comes from the famous central region of Nyeri, where rich red soil around the extinct volcano Mont Kenya produces a consistently excellent crop.
