Green Moroccan Mint Teabags

Product Details

From dawn until dusk, this cooling and refreshing tea is brewed on Morocco's sun-baked streets. Our blend expertly balances smoky green tea with sweet spearmint. Brewed light, or strong with plenty of sugar, this is a tea to seal a deal, welcome a weary stranger or transport you to the bustling alleyways of Morocco's medinas.

Great Taste Awards judges love it too - "The base tea is good and in balance with the mint.

Brew the perfect cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teabag per cup and use freshly drawn water which is heated to around 80 degrees. You can either pour the water before it reaches boiling point or allow the water to sit for a few minutes afterwards. Allow to brew for 2-3 minutes according to taste. Should be drunk without milk.

Really nice flavour, didn't realise it contain green tea. Even though I love the combination, I would prefer a version just mint tea for the evening only. Overall refreshing and great for after lunch. Fast delivery and well packed.

I would like to review this product, which I bought on-line, but it was never delivered. After 10 days spent calling, waiting, writing emails, talking to different members of the staff nobody is able to tell me where the parcel is, I had to buy other presents for Christmas and I did not even received a refund. The worse part, I believe, is the absolute indifference to my problem. I hope not many clients have been as disappointed as I have been and that they actually got to enjoy what they bought. I would not recommend the website to buy Whittard products.

This is a very refreshing taste. The mint isn't too overpowering and is one of the best I've tasted. Would highly recommend.

The closest to the real thing that I have found, after much searching.

Ever since our founder Walter Whittard weighed out tea leaves behind his high mahogany counter, we’ve been experimenting with our own inventive blends. The Chinese were the first to try blending tea leaves with fruits and flowers and it takes time, skill and imagination to master the art. It’s all about creating the perfect balance of flavours: we blind taste at least 20 different variations before settling on the perfect recipe. Just as some musicians have perfect pitch, an expert tea blender needs to have some pretty perceptive tastebuds…

A note from Whittard

“I like to try out unusual coffees, so I tend to go for our Limited Edition varieties. My favourites are the single estate varieties, as you can track the taste right back to the individual bean.”
