Spiced Chai is a zesty blend of a southern Asian drink known as masala chai. Every day in railway stations and busy markets, chai wallahs sell trays of spiced tea in small clay cups. Our version mixes black tea with the intense flavours of cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cardamom and black pepper, which creates a wealth of exotic aromas.

Great Taste Awards judges love it too - "The tea has the right balance and good defined flavours which work well together."

Black Tea, 7% Pepper, 3.5% Cinnamon, 3.5% Cardamom, 3.5% Ginger, 2.5% Cloves, 2.5% Flavouring

Brew a Perfect Cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.

Best tea in the world! I love the spicey flavours that warm you from your head to your toes!

I fell in love with the Christmas tea and when I couldn't get it anymore I thought I would give this a try - and I'm glad I did! It's brilliant and I have invested in a teapot with deep infuser - no need for tea bags anymore. I give it 5 stars:)

I love this loose tea, which is far more aromatic when loose than when in a teabag. Please make it easier to get hold of since it really is special!

This loose tea is a must, especially in the winter, as it really does give a feeling of warmth and well-being. It is the most delicious of all the Chai teas that we have tried, and we enjoy it with a splash of milk. I stock up on it for the winter, to ensure a steady supply to help me through the winter season. It is divine!

In our household, we drink this tea near religiously, WHEN we can get out hands on it. It has a wonderful flavour, and the teabag version is quite different. It is bizarre how this tea is always out of stock, and although our local establishment in the South West does try to order to cater for the demand, it is still far short of the amount that is obviously required.
