Featuring the original illustration of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, this curious fine bone china teapot has been designed exclusively for Whittard and handcrafted at The Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent.  We first had the idea for the collection when sitting at the Mad Hatter’s tea table, listening to his rather raucous performance of ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Bat’…
Create your very own tea party with lovely mugs, dainty-cups and saucers, a sweet little milk and sugar set and a special plate for cakes – oh and don’t forget the nice big teapot. Just be sure to check for the sleeping dormouse before pouring...
Diameter: 24cm
Height: 20cm
Capacity: 1200ml
Dishwasher and microwave safe.

As soon as I saw this teapot online I had to have it! And I'm glad I got it, not only did it arrive promptly after I ordered, but it also came extremely well packaged! The teapot looks amazing and pours a good cuppa as well. I'm looking forward to showing it off at the oncoming tea parties! Delighted with this product :)

Purchased as part of the set. Beautiful design, particularly the detail of a 'Drink me' label on the lid. Practically speaking, a pleasure to use, brews a good cup of tea and pours easily. Very pleased with this product.

I gave this teapot as a gift so can't comment about how good it is at pouring etc. hence 4 stars, but it was a gift to my sister in Texas and I can say that she was over the moon with it. Style and design is fabulous and delivery couldn't have been better. She is in love with it....just hoping someone might buy it as a gift for me now :)
