  • Full Description

English Breakfast loose leaf tea became something of a national drink when word got out that Queen Victoria was a fan; Walter Whittard was quick to follow suit, creating his own distinctive blend from a selection of different tea gardens in the West Java region. It’s been a Whittard firm favourite for well over a century now…

NO.1

NUMEROLOGY

The number 1 seemed a fitting choice for our number one bestseller…

INDONESIA

The tea gardens of Java were originally planted by the Dutch in the 1700s. Tea from the region has similar strength and taste to full-bodied Assam, making it perfect for breakfast blends.

Store in a sealed jar or tin, such as our Fill-Me-Up Tea Caddies.

Fruit or mint to garnish (optional)
