History states this high-quality tea got its name when the East India Trading Company presented it to the Dutch Royal Family, the House of Orange, and then promoted the tea as 'Orange Pekoe' to suggest a royal warrant. A Ceylon-style large leaf blend from the midland gardens of Sri Lanka, it is loved for its citrusy taste.

100% Black Tea.

Brew a Perfect Cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.

I agree with the reviewer who has said that this tea is probably best without milk. This is because it has quite a fruity taste to it.

I prefer my tea with milk, so I didn't particularly like it.

This is one of our favourite teas and can be enjoyed at any time of day. Best without milk but a little sugar can be ok. A Great Tea.
