Additional Information

  • Description
The succulent sweetness of ripe tropical fruits goes rather well with slightly smoky gunpowder green tea; think roasted fruit skewers on a Caribbean beach barbecue. We've blended the delicately rolled leaves of Chinese fired green tea with juicy mango, pineapple and seductive flavours of passionfruit, not forgetting an exotic confetti of orange petals.
  • Ingredients

82% Green Tea, 5% Pineapple Pieces (pineapple, sugar, acidifier: citric acid), 5% Mango Pieces (mango, sugar, acidifier: citric acid), Flavouring, 2% Orange Petals, 2% Rose Petals

    Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

When I opened the sample pouch, the tea's aroma was just heavenly. It continued to smell wonderful as it was brewing and had a fantastic flavour. It might just be my personal preference, but I preferred this tea without sweeteners.

The smell is lovely and refreshing. I would definitely buy it again.

I am in love with this tea! Amazing with a drop of lemon juice and a bit of honey. Smells divine. Sweet and fruity. Tastes like being on holiday in a tropical place. Have just ran out and need a new pack immediately :)
    Even Better With Ice
By JMAN from ESSEX on 04/28/2019
Lovely blend that is as refreshing cold as it is hot. The best version of this particular blend I have tasted. Just make sure you get the brew time right so the flavours are mixed correctly!
    Makes a nice fruity change

Nice to have something a bit different to plain green tea. Fruity but not overpowering.

By Tea2018 from Winchester on 12/16/2018
Amazing smell, taste was good and was refreshing for a fruit tea, but felt like my mouth was a bit dry afterwards
By NBrew from Leicester on 10/31/2018
A little bitter from the green tea but a sweet twist from the fruity flavours.
Nice flavour but could be more robust
By Natalie from Oxford on 10/30/2018
The truffle notes and light hint of fruitiness were delightful! I couldn't really taste the coconut though.

    Nice Subtle Flavours
By Lauren from Leicestershire on 10/22/2018
Was handed this sample at the checkout of my local store, was really excited to try considering passion fruit is my favourite fruit. However was slightly disappointed to not taste any passion fruit flavour to this tea. However I do have to admit the mango was definitely a strong flavour without overpowering the rest of the tea.
    None drinker of fruit teas
By Mel213 from Surrey on 11/27/2018
Refreshing and fruity, even found it good with arnsplash of milk
By G from Cardiff on 10/30/2018
A sweet aroma as soon as I opened the pack which really influenced the overall flavour. The actual taste on the tongue is less sweet than the aroma promised. Overall, nice for a fresh treat with a solid base of green tea.
    Love the smell
By Kisakings from Cardiff on 10/22/2018
The tea smell very nice. You can smell the passion fruit before and after you brew the tea. But for me the taste wasn't very sweet.
    Smells amazing
By JennInLondon from London on 11/01/2018
Smells amazing. The mango smell is really strong, which I adored. The taste, however, wasn't my cup of tea. Think it would have paired really well with black tea instead of green?

Green Tea

Luscious tropical fruits

Drink with a tropical fruit salad for the ultimate summer treat

The star of samba Carmen Miranda knew a thing or two about tropical fruits. She first wore her famous "fruit-hat" costume in 1939, so we thought we’d choose the number 39 for this tea…

Brew the Perfect cup

1 teaspoon (2g)

80 degrees / 200ml water

2-3 mins

Origin: China

The origins of tea lie in China: legend has it that it was discovered when a few leaves fell into the mythical emperor Shennong's cup of hot water. Today China produces thousands of different varieties ranging from black and green tea to more unusual teas, like puerh or yellow tea.

Green Tea

Green tea's fresh, verdant taste is down to its processing: the leaves are heated shortly after picking, stopping the oxidation process that would eventually turn them into black tea. Some of the best green teas are found in Japan and China, where the techniques of firing or steaming the leaves have been perfected over many centuries.
