Warming flavours of vanilla and cinnamon...

Inspired by one of Britain’s best loved puddings, we’ve created this blend from a base of malty black tea, adding pieces of real apple, rosehip peel and warming flavours of vanilla and cinnamon for that authentic ‘just out of the oven’ taste. A tea for when you’re feeling peckish...

Ingredients

Brew the perfect cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.

A note from Whittard

“I don’t respond that well to caffeine, so I tend to go to our fruit and herbal infusions. Baked Apple is one of my favourites, and rooibos is lovely as a caffeine-free breakfast tea.”

* * * * * awesome tea by James Griffith on 22nd June 2015

i bought 4 bags of loose tea in Edinburgh Scotland..i enjoyed a raining afternoon sniffing tea and talking to staff on the do's and dont's of brewing tea,since most Americans are clueless ,where as we grew up on tea bags.. i love the APPLE CRUMBLE and the EARL GREY.. I have at work a big BUNN Coffee maker..put a few scoops of tea in a coffee filter and let the hot water pour over the loose leaves..after a few minutes the tea is ready,and i must say it goes fast..to most of the tea drinkers around the globe,this may sound like a wired way to brew tea,but trust me it does work.. i am not going to complain on the price,as i am a happy customer so far.. i need to buy more tea on line,as my next trip back to Scotland is not until end of Sept.. .

* - - - - SHAMEFUL by Luca on 2nd January 2015

I intended to take it as a Christmas gift buying it on December 10th. The expedition, however, only part of the 15 and the 20 is still not shipped. They make me wait for days to tell me that my package was lost, and the only solution found an apology and refund request or reorder. I ask him to send it as quickly as possible but do not get response for a week. In the end I had to call and as if they had not created any discomfort they asked me again if you get a refund or shipment that was coming anyway after at least two weeks. REALLY SHAMEFUL.

I have to say I agree 100% with Nina. we have been buying apple crumble tea for donkeys years. I didint mind buying it in bulk for a reduced rate for the 500g bags, but it is no longer our everyday tea because you are too expensive! let me know when you see sense and start selling it in big bags again!
