Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.

A note from Whittard

“I love staging themed afternoon teas, and at the moment I’m trying out some of our more bizarre blends, like Bohemian Raspberry and Blueberry Rooibos!”

- Cianne, Southampton Marlands Store Manager

Ever since our founder Walter Whittard weighed out tea leaves behind his high mahogany counter, we’ve been experimenting with our own inventive blends. The Chinese were the first to try blending tea leaves with fruits and flowers and it takes time, skill and imagination to master the art. It’s all about creating the perfect balance of flavours: we blind taste at least 20 different variations before settling on the perfect recipe. Just as some musicians have perfect pitch, an expert tea blender needs to have some pretty perceptive tastebuds…

Delicious and a light sweet fragrant flavour. Perfect tasting tea, I am hooked!

I find this excellent tea suitable for any time of the day, but, especially in the morning with my breakfast. I find it is best when drunk without milk. Much better by far than tea bags!!!

non ci sono parole per descrivere il gusto di questo té: l'ho assaggiato a Londra a fine settembre e da allora non sono più riuscita a farne a meno!

Initially this tea presents itself with a rather powerful aroma, sweet yet a tad overpowering. However after tasting it, I found that it comes across much more subtle than originally presented. Once the tea has cooled slightly, the strawberry and rose flavours appear and after each sip, the light and delicate floral notes come forward. Very well suited as a nice winding down, afternoon tea.

This was bought for me as a gift from the second I opened the bag and the aroma made its way to my nose I knew this would be a tea for me. I brewed 16 ounces of it with two scoops of German Rock Sugar and this is one of the smoothest teas I have ever drank I am in love!

This tea is out of this world, it is light but so refreshing, I find I can drink it at any time of the day, such a lovely summery light tea. I would recommend this to any person that likes a scent, floral flavoured tea.
