Ingredients

Brew the perfect cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teabag per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Can be drunk with or without milk.

A note from Whittard

“I’m a bit of a traditionalist, so I tend to go for classic black tea blends like Earl Grey, or single origin varieties like Ceylon or Assam. Lapsang Souchong is a treat with hot cross buns.”

* * - - - Lemon Ginger tea by Stuart Barker on 8th June 2015

The tea bags in this batch leak. We have experienced this problem before. I did write to complain but too much hassle to send tea back etc which was asked for,so bought a tea strainer which helps a little but tea "leaves" are very fine. The materials used for the bags are not fit for purpose!

This tea is delicious and so healthy with its fantastic ingredients. I've been looking for a good ginger tea for quite some time, and I finally found it from Whittard when I visited London last year. Haven't stopped drinking it since.

I love this on a winter morning - it perks you up, and the combination of lemon and ginger is always a winner.
