Our Very Very Berry sings of summer, with a symphony of real currants, rosehip shells, raspberry pieces, blackcurrants, elderberries, blueberries and piquant hibiscus flowers. A Great Taste Award winner in both 2011 and 2014, the judges loved its “dark dried fruit aroma which brews to a blushing red, medium-bodied liquor. Very good pronounced blackcurrant and elderberry notes.” Enjoy hot, cold or as a tea-total cocktail with chopped fruit and crushed ice.

Also a winner of the 2011 Great Taste Awards *

Ingredients

Brew the perfect cup

Ideally warm the pot first with a splash of hot water. Use one teaspoon (around 2g) per cup and always use freshly drawn and boiled water. Allow to brew for 3-5 minutes according to taste. Should be drunk without milk.

A note from Whittard

“I’m a huge oolong fan – the sheer diversity of different flavours is pretty mind-boggling. My favourites are the creamy, almost buttery high grown oolongs grown in Taiwan.”
