Our Delivery Promise

When ordering from Whittard of Chelsea we will give you an estimated delivery period, this is our delivery promise to you. If for any reason we are unable to meet this promise, we will ensure we keep you up to date with your order and will provide you with a new estimated date of delivery as soon as we can.

UK Delivery Services:

  • Service available to UK mainland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Sark & Herm, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey and Northern Ireland.
  • Orders will usually arrive between 2 - 4 working days after placing your order.  
  • Orders to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Sark & Herm, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey and Northern Ireland will take longer to arrive.
  • Standard deliveries within the UK are made by courier and delivered between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday, excluding bank holidays. Please note that couriers can occasionally deliver your order outside these hours, particularly during peak seasons.
  • Deliveries to BFPO addresses are charged at our UK standard delivery rate of £3.95. The parcel will be sent to the BFPO sorting office. Unfortunately we are unable to provide any tracking information after the parcel arrives at the BFPO sorting office and onwards. Whittard of Chelsea will not be liable for any loss or damage of the goods delivered to a BFPO address.

  • Both of our UK couriers, Yodel and DPD, have smartphone apps to help you track and manage your delivery.
  • If you are not going to be at home between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, we recommend arranging delivery to your work address. If we do attempt to deliver to you at home and no one is in, our couriers will leave a card telling you about how to re-arrange or collect your delivery. Any unclaimed or undelivered orders will eventually make their way back to our warehouse and will be refunded.
  • Only valid on standard UK deliveries valued at £40 or more, after other discounts have been applied, excluding postage and packing related charges.
  • Only valid on orders to UK destinations, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands..
  • An order constitutes a single delivery to a single address.
  • Free Delivery is not available with our Next Day or Named Day Delivery service.

  • Click & Collect orders (you paid at point of order) will be available for collection from your chosen store between 3 and 5 working days after placing your order. You will receive an email to confirm your order is waiting for collection.
  • Click & Reserve orders (you did not pay at point of reservation) will be available within 3 working hours.
  • Click & Collect orders will be held in store for 10 days, after which point your order will be cancelled and refunded in full.
  • Click & Reserve orders will be held in store for 3 days, after which point the order will expire. 
  • You will not be able to collect your order without bringing your order number to store with you.
  • Gift Boxes and hampers are not available with our Click & Reserve service, but can be ordered through Click & Collect.
  • Named day, next day or express services are delivered between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Please note that couriers can occasionally deliver your order outside these hours, particularly during peak seasons.
  • The Next Day and Named Day services are available to the UK mainland only. Orders to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Sark & Herm, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey and Northern Ireland will take longer to arrive.
  • If you place your order on the website, or through our Customer Services Team, before 5pm Monday to Thursday, we will deliver the next working day. If you place your order on a Friday before 5pm, we will deliver it on the following Monday, unless this is a bank holiday. If you place your order on a Friday after 5pm, we will deliver it on the following Tuesday, or Wednesday if the Monday is a bank holiday. If your order is placed on a Saturday or Sunday, your order will be delivered the following Tuesday. During the Christmas period, this service will be replaced by an express delivery option, guaranteed to arrive in time for Christmas.
  • Please note that this is a 2-day service for the following postcodes:
    AB31-38, AB41-56, FK17-21, IV1-63, KA27-28, KW0-14, PA20-78, PH15-29, PH 30-33, PH45-48, PH34-44 and PH49-50
  • Orders to the following postcodes will take up to 4 working days to arrive, using this service:
    HS1-9, KW15-17 and ZE1-3
  • Named Day service is selected at checkout on the day of your choice
  • All Whittard of Chelsea orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Orders placed over the weekend on our standard delivery service will be processed on Tuesday (Wednesday after a Bank Holiday Monday) next day orders placed over the weekend will be processed on Monday (Tuesday after a Bank Holiday Monday).
  • If you are not at home between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, we recommend arranging delivery to your work address. If we do attempt to deliver to you at home and no one is in, our couriers will leave a card telling you about how to re-arrange or collect your delivery. Any unclaimed or undelivered orders will eventually make their way back to our warehouse.
  • Our next day and named day delivery courier, DPD, has a smartphone app to help you track and manage your delivery.

If you wish to return a product to us for any reason, you may do so within 30 days of the despatch date to one of our UK stores or to our Freepost returns address. (Freepost is only available from within the UK). The item must be in a saleable condition and in its original undamaged packaging. We'll refund or replace the item should you so wish.

 

Please keep your proof of postage, as this will mean we are able to process your refund or replacement more quickly.
