The green tea leaves (tencha), which are packed with polyphenols, are ground into a fine powder, allowing you to consume all the goodness contained in the leaf. This delivers a healthy dose of L-theanine, renowned for its stress reducing properties amongst other health-benefits.

Prepare your Vanilla Matcha the traditional way, by using a bamboo spoon (Chasaku) to measure out the powder, placing it in a bowl where it is mixed with hot water and whisked vigorously using a bamboo whisk until frothy. The Matcha is then served – and sometimes drank – from the bowl.
