Healthy vegan breakfast idea to enjoy at home or on the go. Packed full of buttery caramel flavour from our Milk Oolong tea, this oatmeal can be topped with fruit to keep you full until lunchtime.
INGREDIENTS
2 teaspoons Whittard Milk Oolong Tea
180ml boiling water
40g jumbo oats
20ml oat milk
Toppings: vegan chocolate, peanut butter, banana, berries, chopped hazelnuts and sea salt flakes
METHOD
- Pop the Milk Oolong tea into a teapot with an infuser and pour over 90° water. Let steep for 6 minutes.
- Combine the oats, oat milk and steeped tea in a saucepan.
- Heat low and slow, stirring occasionally, until the oats soak up the liquid and the oatmeal is thick and creamy.
- Spoon into a bowl, add your toppings and enjoy!
