The Wisdom of Whittard Dads
– Ideas and Inspiration To Make It A Memorable Day
In the run up to Father's Day we turned to five fantastic fathers who work for Whittard to gain some inspiration for how to spoil Dad this year. They share their expert advice, giving you a flavour of their perfect presents, and they also have creative ideas on how to spend Dad’s special day together.
Matt
Matt is Head of Ecommerce, with two young children aged 5 and 2.
Which Whittard gift would you recommend this Father's Day and why?
The Clever Coffee Dripper. I love my coffee and combining two familiar brewing processes gives me the full flavoured barista-style coffee I adore at home. Plus, it's so easy to clean, which is more than can be said for my little ones!

What would be your perfect Father's Day?
Pancakes with freshly ground coffee for breakfast, playing outdoors with the children, before enjoying a BBQ and collapsing on the sofa together in the evening.
Steve
Steve is Product & Marketing Director, with twin daughters aged 15.
Which Whittard gift would you recommend this Father's Day and why?
The Luxury Hot Chocolate would be ideal for me. I’m also one for kitchen gadgets so the handheld milk frother would be a perfect pairing. Let’s be honest – whatever gift is bought for me is not really for me – it’s for them…so Hot Chocolate being their favourite drink means they’d be kept busy, even if it’s only for a few minutes!

The best gift would be family time by the beach somewhere – more than likely Salcombe.

A family walk with a quick stop at a pub garden, then back home for a BBQ and maybe a quick Mario Kart tournament before bed, which the kids always win!

I love Coconut Matcha. This creamy and delicious green tea flavour is my daily go to. As a busy parent of two young girls, a mug of Matcha gives me the caffeine injection to get me moving.

What would be your perfect Father's Day?
An early dog walk and back in time for brunch with my favourite little people. If the sun’s shining later, we’d fire up the BBQ and fill our garden with family and friends.
Mark
Mark is an Operations Manager, with a daughter aged 11.
Which Whittard gift would you recommend this Father's Day and why?
The most important part of my morning routine is a delicious cup of coffee. That's why I love Coffees Of The World as it provides a flavour for every day of week (and some!). The variety of different roasts and flavours keeps my morning cup interesting.

What would be your perfect Father's Day?
First things first, my morning coffee – quickly followed by a country walk with my girl and our dogs. Once we've worked up an appetite, a pub roast is next on the menu.
