1. Introduction

1.1. These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the Whittard Rewards loyalty programme ("Whittard Rewards") and outline how you can sign up, use your rewards, and opt out if desired.

1.2. References to "us," "we," "our," or “Whittard” in these Terms refer to Whittard Trading Limited (trading as Whittard of Chelsea), a limited company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at Whittard Trading Ltd, First Floor West, 25 Western Avenue, Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, OX14 4SH.

1.3. References to "you" or "your" mean you, as a registered Whittard customer and participant in Whittard Rewards. By signing up for Whittard Rewards, you agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms.

2. Membership

2.1. Membership to Whittard Rewards is currently open to customers who are at least 18 years of age and have a valid email address.

2.2. Participation in the Whittard Rewards is voluntary and free of charge. No purchase is necessary to join.

2.3. Only one Whittard Rewards account per eligible customer is permitted. Each email address is also limited to one account.

2.4. You agree not to access, use or otherwise make available your Whittard Rewards membership for any commercial purposes. Whittard Rewards is intended for your personal use only.

3. Joining Whittard Rewards

3.1. To join Whittard Rewards, you must provide a valid email address and you must verify your email within 48 hours of receiving a verification email to complete your registration. By joining Whittard Rewards you agree to receive marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time.

3.2. You can sign up using either of the following methods:

• Hold an existing Whittard account or create an online account via the whittard.co.uk or whittard.com websites (“Whittard Websites”), then join Whittard Rewards from your account homepage.

• Provide your email address to a team member at a till point in any Whittard store and confirm your consent to join Whittard Rewards.

4. Earning Points

4.1. Whittard Rewards allows members to accumulate and redeem points for future purchases on the Whittard Websites or in Whittard stores.

4.2. Points are earned on qualifying purchases made on Whittard Websites or in Whittard stores. Qualifying purchases include any merchandise available for purchase, excluding gift cards and vouchers.

4.3. Members may also earn points through other methods as communicated via email or in their Whittard Rewards account.

4.4. Whittard may, at its sole discretion, award 'bonus' points for certain actions (such as referring a friend or writing a product review on Whittard Websites). Additional rules and restrictions may apply to such bonus point promotions.

4.5. The method for calculating points is consistent globally, but the number of points earned on the purchase of a specific product may vary by country due to price differences.

4.6. Points will be added to your Whittard Rewards account at the time of payment. These points will appear as pending for 7 days and will become active after this period, subject to any returns or cancellations.

4.7. If you return any items from your order within the valid Returns period, the points for those items will be deducted.

4.8. Points will not be awarded for fraudulent or refunded/cancelled transactions.

4.9. Whittard reserves the right to manually amend or cancel any orders with incorrect reward points allocation if any issues arise.

5. Redeeming Points

5.1. Whittard reserves the right to suspend, terminate, revalue, or modify, without liability or notice to Members, any part of the internal points or Rewards value structure and offers, as well as any merchandise or services.

5.2. From time to time, Whittard Rewards may provide benefits or privileges to Members in exchange for a specified number of points or for completing certain actions (‘Rewards’). These Rewards can include, but are not limited to, discounts on purchases made through Whittard Websites and in Whittard stores.

5.3. A list of available Rewards and the relevant terms and conditions will always be accessible on the Whittard Rewards account pages.

5.4. Rewards are non-assignable, non-transferable, and may not be bartered or sold, except as expressly permitted by Whittard Rewards.

5.5. Whittard reserves the right to substitute Rewards with comparable or greater value if any redeemed Reward becomes unavailable for any reason.

5.6. Points:

5.6.1. can only be used for the purposes expressly specified in these Terms or as set out in the terms and conditions for a Reward or other promotional offers or activities.

5.6.2. have no cash value and cannot be converted into or exchanged for cash or gift cards.

5.6.3. can be redeemed on Whittard Websites and in Whittard stores, regardless of where they were earned.

5.7. Only active points can be redeemed; pending points cannot be redeemed until they become active.

6. Points Expiration

6.1. Every earned point will expire 24 months after the end of the calendar month in which it was earned.

6.2. Expiration timeframe: 24 months after the points are earned.

6.3. Expiration date: Last day of each month.

7. Cancellation & Termination

7.1. Membership in Whittard Rewards and its benefits are offered at the discretion of Whittard. Whittard may at any time, terminate, change, limit, modify or cancel Whittard Rewards or any rules, regulations, benefits or conditions of participation by posting the modified rules on this page. Your continued participation in the programme after such posting will constitute your acceptance of such terms.

7.2. You can close your Whittard Rewards membership at any time through your Whittard Rewards account or by contacting our Customer Services Team via phone or email. Upon termination or cancellation of your Whittard Rewards account, all your points will be deleted and no longer of use.

7.3. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate your membership if we believe you are misusing or abusing the programme in any way. If we terminate your membership, we may revoke any rewards you have earned and suspend or terminate your Whittard customer account.

7.4. Your account will be deleted in accordance with our data policy, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

7.5. When you unsubscribe from Whittard Rewards, this will not unsubscribe you from receiving email marketing. If you wish to unsubscribe from email marketing, please click on the ‘unsubscribe’ button within any Whittard email or contact our Customer Services Team.

8. Personal Data, Data Privacy, and Audit

8.1. To operate and manage your Whittard Rewards membership, we will use the information (including personal data) you provided when registering for your Whittard account. We may also use your purchase history to offer Rewards tailored to you.

8.2. Whittard collects, retains, and processes personal data about you in compliance with all applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant national data protection legislation.

8.3. We treat all your personal information as confidential, although we reserve the right to disclose this information in specific circumstances as outlined below.

8.4. Your information is stored securely on a secure server, and we adhere strictly to all applicable UK data protection and consumer legislation.

8.5. We follow strict security procedures to prevent unauthorised access to the information you provide.

8.6. We will not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others unless you authorise us to do so.

9. Third-Party Sites and Services

9.1. Some Rewards or promotions available through Whittard Rewards are offered by third-party partners.

9.2. Whittard Rewards may also include third-party offerings or links to third-party platforms (e.g., social media platforms, websites, offers). These websites are not under the control of Whittard and may have their own terms and conditions for use and privacy policies that will apply.

9.3. By using these third-party links, you acknowledge and agree that Whittard is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, appropriateness, or any other aspect of the content or functionality of these websites.

9.4. Rewards or promotions offered by third-party partners are the responsibility of those partners. Whittard is not liable for the provision of such Rewards, any payment for goods and services, or any terms, conditions, warranties, or representations associated with these Rewards or promotions. Any issues or disputes regarding such Rewards or promotions must be resolved between you and the third-party partner.

10. How to Claim Your Free Gift Reward

10.1. Upon completing your first purchase as a Whittard Rewards member, you will receive a unique code via email, which can also be found in your Whittard Rewards account.

10.2. This code allows you to choose a gift worth up to and including the value of £9 when you spend a minimum of £10 on your second Rewards purchase.

10.3. This Reward can be redeemed either online on the Whittard Websites, or in any Whittard store.

10.4. The code is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

10.5. To redeem in-store: Show your unique offer code to store staff and provide your email address.

10.6. To redeem online: Enter your unique offer code at checkout and select your gift from a list of products displayed to you.

10.7. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.

10.8. Whittard and Whittard Rewards reserve the right to change or amend the offer at their discretion at any time.

11. How to Claim Your Anniversary Reward

11.1. On the anniversary of your Whittard Rewards sign-up, you will receive a unique code via email, also available in your Whittard Rewards account.

11.2. This annual Reward is provided if your account is active and is worth £5 or its equivalent in your local currency.

11.3. The voucher can be redeemed against any purchase and is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

11.4. To redeem in-store: Show your unique offer code to store staff and provide your email address.

11.5. To redeem online: Enter your unique code at checkout.

12. General

12.1. By participating in Whittard Rewards, you agree to these Terms. If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Services Team for assistance.

12.2. These Terms apply in addition to our website Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any applicable Delivery Terms.

12.3. Any decision of Whittard regarding any aspect of Whittard Rewards is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

12.4. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Whittard, its group companies and their affiliates shall not be liable for any claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from Whittard Rewards. Whittard does not make any express or implied warranties or representations with respect to Whittard Rewards and Whittard shall not be liable for the consequences of any interruptions or errors related thereto.

12.5. These Terms and Whittard Rewards will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
