Catch that bouquet!

Fragrant orange blossom has long been a symbol of good fortune, popular with poets and all those lucky enough to catch a bridal bouquet. This botanical blend of black tea has a bright citrus clarity balanced by rich, rounded notes of orange; you'll find it's both warm and refreshing, equally delicious in the depths of winter and the height of summer. To enjoy this tea in all its floral glory, we'd suggest serving without milk - for a flirty finishing touch we've added a handful of orange petals.

* * * * * Great Deep Tasting Tea by Mhairi Banham on 4th June 2018

I keep coming back to this tea. It started my conversion to Whittards flavoured black teas, which I'm working my way through now. This has a deeper black tea flavour than some of the others I like. The smell of the orange through this is just gorgeous. It's more bitter than the other teas I like, which I love. I have a caddy of this which will be replaced each time I run out.

I recently tried this tea as I was looking for an alternative summer time tea and I was not disappointed. The orange comes though with sweetness to counter the more bitter notes of the tea but without being too over powering. This has quickly become one of my favourite whittard products!

A lovely refreshing cup, just the right amount of orange - not to sweet/sour citrus, but definitely not underwhelming. The base tea can be a little bitter, so I'd recommend 3mins brewing max.

Ever since our founder Walter Whittard weighed out tea leaves behind his high mahogany counter, we’ve been experimenting with our own inventive blends. The Chinese were the first to try blending tea leaves with fruits and flowers and it takes time, skill and imagination to master the art. It’s all about creating the perfect balance of flavours: we blind taste at least 20 different variations before settling on the perfect recipe. Just as some musicians have perfect pitch, an expert tea blender needs to have some pretty perceptive tastebuds…
