  • Full Description

Most people think of masala chai as a flavoured black tea, but the original Indian drink was entirely tea-free.

We’ve created our own naturally caffeine-free chai, blending fruit and spices with the delicate sweetness of camomile and mellow nettle leaves. With the citrusy zing of orange, balanced by rich cinnamon and a tingle of ginger, it’s a wicked wake-up call for your taste buds.

NO.939

NUMEROLOGY

The cinnamon in this tea comes from Vietnam, which was part of Imperial China for over a millennium. We've numbered this tea 939, the year Vietnam won its independence.

BLENDED

Ever since our founder Walter Whittard weighed out tea leaves behind his high mahogany counter, we've been experimenting with our own inventive blends. None of our fruit and herbal infusions contain the Camellia sinensis plant used to make tea. Instead, we've blended our own combinations of fruit, flowers, herbs and spices to create extraordinary new flavours.

Store in a sealed jar or tin, such as our Fill-Me-Up Tea Caddies.

How to Make
